This drawing was inspired by a flood of thought-forms during an entheogenic mushroom trip. I saw consciousness as a resonating energy within a continuum. When I applied this to paper, it eventually evolved into a Staff of Caduceus, with the two serpent-heads as Kukulcan- the Mayan god, "plumed serpent." This energy flows from the head of a shaman, transfiguring the chaotic energy of lightning and ocean into transcendent vision, awakening, and healing.
